Why Contribute?

Help us reach our goal of $100,000.00 for the 2024 campaign.

• The scholarship program is entirely funded by the local community. Your support directly benefits hard-working students from local families who are our neighbors, friends and customers. 
  
• Donors tell us that their customers thank them for helping to make a difference in their children’s educational goals. They also promote positive “word of mouth” for organizations.
• As a 501 (c) (3) organization, contributions qualify as tax deductible expenses.
• 98% of contributions go directly to scholarships thanks to the generosity of volunteers and local businesses.

We are excited to announce our new partnership with Omella, a local payment processing platform that’s easy to use and is free of all processing fees for nonprofit organizations. All payments made through Omella are encrypted, secure and have SSL with 24/7 fraud monitoring. There are no processing fees for the donor when they choose to donate from a bank account. If donors opt to donate with a credit card, the processing fee is added to their donation total. Tipping is optional but allows our organization to continue to use Omella for free.

You can donate through Colorado Gives throughout the year. However, when you donate on Colorado Gives Day, typically the first Tuesday in December, your donation can go even further. The FirstBank incentive Fund increases the value of every dollar donated on Colorado Gives Day. The more we raise on Colorado Gives Day, the more of the incentive pool will be allocated to our scholarship fund.
